"I want to thank you for making a fabulous family vacation possible for us once again. We adore all your properties - Banstead has a special place in our hearts. The Beach Walk location on White Sands Rd made our stay even more relaxing as we were able to easily walk to the Grape Bay cottage Paul's sister and brother-in-law rent for their family every year for the past 30! We had 14 people together between three related families and it was glorious. Clearly the atmosphere and the accommodations make for a wonderful relaxing and bonding experience.

We particularly enjoyed staying in the Beach Walk Apt and Studio. As always, you do a terrific job of decorating each place. I love the thoughtful colors and the attention to detail for everything we could possibly need. The kitchens are indeed a special treat! Our extended family enjoys cooking and sharing all our meals. I used the apartment kitchen to prepare many parts of the meals for 14 as it is so lovely to work in, with great appliances. Thank you for making it so easy!

The convertible bed in the common room of the apartment is a great option too - I love the many flexible formations it offers. The Studio could not be more charming! I love the color scheme and the cool, secluded ambiance. You are gifted in making use of space in remarkably beautiful and functional ways. Each unit has it's own unique feel, (I know the cottage must be similarly well designed) yet each connects beautifully to the other.

We also very much appreciate that you provide the basic necessities for our arrival (TP, soap, coffee!) - and the homemade treats in the refrigerator - so that we can ease into our initial arrival without worrying about getting to the market store before we do anything else. It's awfully hard to imagine any thoughtful comments we could offer for improvements - you truly have everything covered. I guess I could wish for sharp knives in the kitchen - but who in their right mind would ever expect that in any vacation home?!

This year turned into pure joy as we shared the time with our sons and extended family. Thank you for making beautiful memories possible."

"This was our 23rd trip to Bermuda so we know the island really well. This location is perfect. Near a private beach (5 minute walk) and easy access to the Bermuda Railway Trail that is great for short (or long) hikes. Also very conveniently located near grocery stores, ice cream shops and scooter/electric car rentals. There is an EV charger on site. Also easy access into Hamilton via bus or ferry and to the south shore beaches. The apartment was spotlessly clean on checkin and is perfectly set up to do your own cooking and relaxing. Well stocked kitchen to cook your own meals. Or try out the BBQ. Some great restaurants nearby as well. Great Wifi on site. The communication pre-check in, post-check in and pre-checkout was fantastic. Highly recommended and look forward to returning"

I highly recommend staying at Beach Walk Studio with Susan and Graham as your hosts. My mother and I stayed in the studio which is just around the back of the cottage. All the pictures and descriptions were accurate. The studio was perfect for just the two of us. The location of Beach Walk Studio s very convenient. Not far from Hamilton or bus routes to take you anywhere on the island, and down the road from the beautiful [private] Grape Bay Beach. Susan was spot on with communication - very quick to respond to emails, answered any and all questions, and provided very useful information during our stay. You definitely get your money’s worth staying at Beach Walk Studio!

This is our 3rd time staying at Banstead Cottage. We recommend it to all of our friends and family. Imagine going to paradise for a week and just borrowing a friend's little cottage and pool...rather than an impersonal hotel room. I've come to anticipate the homemade cookies and muffins that always seem to catch me by surprise, and the available starter-pack of coffee, tea, and (this year, NEW!) The Honour Bar ("take some booze, leave some booze"). The king bad is very comfortable, the full-bath is clean, and the kitchen is well-equipped for any meal you wish to make. We even used the grill this year (clean and functional). Depending on how you like to vacation, if you're interested in the ability to cook your own meals, this is a gift. We still had meals out, multiple meals delivered, but the ability to scramble your own egg in the morning is lovely. The pool...the private (Website hidden by Airbnb) one else around, no kids unless they're yours...the pool is the selling point for me. On the hot days, I went from the sun to pool to seats under the awning back to the pool again and again. The pool doesn't close at night. It's open at 5am if that's when you want your first dip. It's about 5' (maybe 5.5') at the deep end. Added feature is the electric vehicle hookup in the little garage. We rented a Twizy this time, which is a huge improvement over the scooters. But had we listened to Susan (Always Listen To Susan) we would have gone for the side-by-side Tazzari. Ah, next time. Susan and Graham are top notch. If you're lucky, they'll invite you for cocktails, or come over to "your" house for a drink. They're funny and friendly and lovely people. 10/10 would recommend.

Beach Walk is a lovely place to base yourself on a visit to Bermuda. Having access to the beach as amazing. I went down there every day and it was like have a private beach all to myself. The location being close to Middle road gives one access to all of the Middle and South Shore roads buses. So helpful for geting into town.

As a solo traveller that moved to Bermuda for a few months, the Beach Walk Studio quickly became my home in Bermuda. Its trendy design, convenient location, and pool/ sunny seating areas went above and beyond my expectations. The Studio is very bright and gets a good amount of air circulation, despite being below ground. You can walk to Hamilton in 30 minutes on a beautiful day or take a quick bus ride, both of which are much closer to town than most guests on the island!

Susan was an incredible host: very responsive and committed to ensuring my experience was a great one — she even left me cookies and chilli when I couldn't go grocery shopping due to quarantine requirements after my flight. Reviews I read before staying said that the Studio was the best value one could find in Bermuda — I have to agree. I loved to walk around the neighbourhood which is safe, quiet, and friendly. The Grape Bay access was my favourite spot to end a run: there were rarely other beach guests anywhere closeby, making the private beach access live up to its name. Book the Beach Walk Studio when you visit Bermuda, you will not be disappointed! I can't wait to stay there again.

"I arrived at the cottage on a Friday morning. The check-in process was effortless. I met Susan and Graham on my arrival and they are the most friendly and affable couple.

The property offers perfect privacy yet ready access to the Botanical Garden next door or Hamilton city a mere 20 minute stroll away. Furthermore, the large outdoor area and private pool reinforces the feeling one is ‘home’ rather than in a vacation rental.

The interior is well appointed offering residents a US King size bed, sleeper settee, full bath and well equipped kitchen. As I enjoy cooking, every necessary item-from utensils to pots, pans and trays were available.

THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY!!! We’ve been to Bermuda several times and this air b&b AND their hosts take a vacation to a new level. From amenities and home decor, to kind and fast hosts. This air b&b had it all. Apartment layout felt very spacious and had very usable living space (huge closet!) Private deck was great to have a drink out on and relax. Private BBQ grill is bonus. Pool was sparkling clean and wonderful to have after a long day at the beach. Outdoor shower also a bonus to rinse sand off before jumping in! Sue provided food and drinks to hold us over while following COVID quarantine laws. Made it go by quickly. Plus the muffins were to die for! Central location yet quiet. Beaches and restaurants all nearby. Walk to Ice Queen was easy and quick. Went back for the wahoo nuggets several times. Overall a wonderful experience. Big thank you to Sue & Graham. We will be back!!

"Beach Walk is described accurately and with great detail. The home is lovely in every way, and exceeded our expectations, which were high to begin with. Susan and Graham, were completely committed to our multi-general family of 11 having a very special time. The beach at Grape Bay is glorious, and all week we saw fewer than 20 or so other people on the beach. Felt like our own private beach. Local services like Modern Mart (complete grocery offering), cycle rental, Ice Queen -ice cream, are all a short 10 - 15 minute down White Sands Road and the railway trail. The home is furnished beautifully, and not with utilitarian rental furniture. We rented the entire complex and the separate 1 bedroom apartment and studio apartment were great for people to escape and have some quiet time. Each unit had it’s kitchen/Kitchenette, and Susan has welcome muffins and cookies when we arrived. We have rented from AirBnb’s around the world, but nonbetter than Beach Walk and hosts Susan and Graham. Every thing was superb. Five stars all the way.

Susan and Graham have really thought about what guests need--there are labels on the kitchen cabinets, clear instructions for everything, an abundance of towels, a wagon for getting things to the beach (one of the best in Bermuda and really 10 minutes away on foot, down a pretty and quiet residential road), a little box of recommended activities from previous guests, a charger for the electric cars you can rent, and several suggested itineraries for seeing the whole island. When we had questions, they got back to us right away. The location is fantastically convenient, and, unusually for an Air BnB, the beds are comfortable! We have family in Bermuda and visit often. We will definitely try to stay here again!"
